5. Installation Scope

- Secure bracketing for all flexible and rigid sections

To rectify this, we recommend
- Removing the existing gas cooktop
- Cut and adjust the cabinetry above the cooktop to allow for a minimum of 650mm clearance from the rangehood to the cooktop burners
- Replace the existing rangehood with a new Westinghouse WRF610SA rangehood (due to age).
- Adjust the gas pipework to suit a new EURO ECT60WCX gas cooktop.
- Test and commission the appliances.
Note: our technicians are not carpenters/cabinet makers so whilst care and caution are taken with the works, this should be taken into consideration. If the owner is after a refined finish, please seek out professionals in this area. Further painting works may be required to finish the cabinetry work not included in the below quote.

- Remove the existing gas cooktop from the benchtop (already disconnected from the gas line).
- Wire a new 6mm dedicated circuit from the switchboard located outside the front of house to the rear of house where the kitchen is located (the cable run is ~25m).
- The double GPO to the left of the cooktop is to be replaced with a double with an extra HOB switch for isolation of the cooktop.
- Run conduit/ductwork underneath cabinetry to the new cooktop.
- Install a new 32A RCBO at the switchboard.
- Cut out the benchtop to allow the cooktop to fit.
- Test and approve functionality.
- Lodge a Certificate of Electrical Safety as required with Energy Safe Victoria (ESV)
